The Services

Gilburn is based in LE12 9BS

The Meadows is based in LE12 9QJ

Both support individuals with challenging mental health conditions & learning disabilities.

About you

You need to understand the role of a support worker, and how hard & challenging this role can be, but also how rewarding it is to go home and smile because you have made a difference!

We also need you to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with demanding situations.

Most importantly you have a passion for helping others, regardless of their circumstances.

Key duties

Encouraging and supporting service users with all their daily living needs in line with their individual care plan

Completing key domestic duties on a day-to-day basis that ensures a homely environment is maintained.

Maintaining good relationships with service users and colleagues, providing emotional and practical support

Continually assessing the service user’s needs. Under direction of your line manager, you will be responsible for the formulation, implementation, and review of care plans.

Holding responsibility for completing daily records to meet statutory and policy requirements.

Important

For this Support Worker role, you need to be able to commit to 38 hours working Monday – Sunday on a rota basis. This Unfortunately means we will not be able to take on students or applicants looking for part time work.

We also do not take applicants who need a sponsorship.
